Parker and Gillette Featured in New Book
Brad Parker and Mike Gillette are
both featured as contributors to the new book,
"Kidnapping: An Investigator's Guide to Profiling" by Diana M. Concannon. This is a serious textbook for professionals, yet has a wealth of information for any instructor looking for some real-life examples and methodologies. The book covers domestic kidnapping, predatory kidnapping of children, sexual kidnapping of adult, kidnapping for profit and revenge as well as political and stage kidnapping. Parker's contribution comes in the form of information about predators transporting their victims and sections with tips on preventing victimization and a block on interventions for instructors. Diana Concannon is a certified women's self-defense instructor and holds a doctorate degree in forensic psychology and is certified as a Professional Certified Investigator by the American Society for Industrial Security.
